60/100: that’s the score awarded to Road Transport by EcoVadis. This organisation, which specialises in assessing corporate social responsibility (CSR), conducted an audit of both the GEODIS group as a whole and its lines of business, and awarded this score to Road Transport, which is particularly satisfying in view of the fact that the average score for companies in the road haulage sector is only 45/100. “This score reflects the efforts the company has made regarding the four pillars of corporate responsibility: the environment, social aspects, responsible purchasing and business ethics”, QHSE Director Coralie Guglielmetti explains. Road Transport has matched its 2017 score, which is a great achievement in itself, because the survey is becoming more and more demanding every year. In 2019, our target is to reach a score in excess of 62/100, which would put Road Transport in the ‘Gold’ category. “Of course, there is still room for improvement in all the categories that are audited”. With this in mind, Road Transport will also be able to draw on the strong momentum provided by the GEODIS Group, which obtained a remarkable score of 70/100.
